Dashing director Puri Jagannadh and Young Tiger Jr.NTR has earlier teamed up for Andhrawala film. However, the film turned out to be a disaster at the Box-Office and the duo did not team up again. But, the latest buzz in the filmnagar says Puri Jagannadh is yet again wielding the megaphone with Jr.NTR in the lead.
While the other details of the cast and crew of the project are still under wraps NTR is as of now busy with his couple of undershoot films. The A1 Star is busy shooting simultaneously for Oosaravelli with Surender Reddy and Dammu with Boyapati Srinu.
Meanwhile, let’s wait for the official announcement of Jr.NTR and Puri Jagannadh combo.

Director V.V.Vinayak has given a voiceover for Ram’s forthcoming film Kandireega, which is slated for a release on 12th August. Vinayak has given the voiceover to the introduction of negative lead role in the film. Vinayak has earlier too lent his voice for few films and he has even done cameos in films like Tagore and Neninthe.
Kandireega is touted as a romantic action entertainer with ample mass elements. Hansika has paired up with Ram as leading lady in the film while Aksha as second fiddle to her. Kandireega is directed by a debutant Santosh Srinivas and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner. Thaman scored the tunes for the film.
The film-makers seem to be quite confident on the success of Kandireega.

Sources reveal that the shoot of Rajini Kanth’s Rana is going to start from October 3rd at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. It is known that two grand sets have been erected at Ramoji Film City for Rana’s shooting. One set looks like a huge palace while the other one is that of a ship. Director Ravi Kumar has designed a schedule of 100 days for Rajini with enough intervals by considering his health factor. Though doctors have advised Rajini not to go for risky fight sequences, the actor is showing his willingness to do it himself without any body double or computer graphics.
However, Director KS Ravi Kumar is in plans to include risky fight sequences by using computer graphics.
Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Ganja Karuppu and other lead cast will be joining Rana team at the Ramoji Film City from October 3rd.
It can be noted here that Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad is Rajini’s sentiment and favourite studio as the studio carries the name of his father Ramoji Rao. Most of his films are shot in Ramoji Film City and Rajini always plans one schedule of his every film over here.

Young Tiger Jr.NTR is currently shooting few vital scenes at Sanghi temple for his forthcoming film Oosaravelli. NTR, Jayaprakash Reddy and few others are participating in today’s shoot in a specially erected set in the temple. Oosaravelli is progressing at a rapid pace inorder to meet the deadline of the release date for Dussera.
Tamannah is playing Jr.NTR’s love interest in the film where she will be seen as a memory loss patient. Sources are at buzz that the Young Tiger’s dances are one of the highlights of the film along with his characterization. Surender Reddy is directing the film while B.V.N.S. Prasad is producing it under the banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the tunes for the film.

King Nagarjuna seems to be busy with handful of films. The Yuvasamrat, who is presently busy with Rajanna in Vijayendra Prasad direction, is simultaneously allotting his dates to his biggest budget film of his career Damarukam, being directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat of RR Movie Makers banner. While Rajanna will hit the big-screens in the end of September for Dussera, Damarukam might see the limelight for January, 2012 for Pongal.
Apart from these promising films, Nagarjuna has okayed another couple of films. Nag has given his nod to portray the role of Lord Sai Baba in a devotional film titled Shirdi Sai. The film will be directed by Raghavendra Rao, who gave the actor two devotional hits Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu. Shiridi Sai is progressing at fast pace and currently the music sittings are being done. Keeravani has already composed 3 songs for the film.
Next to this, Nagarjuna has accepted a new film with D. Siva Prasad Reddy on Kamakshi Kala Movie banner. A renowned director will wield the megaphone for this big budget films says the sources.

Pawan Kalyan’s undershoot film in the direction of Vishnuvardhan has completed its shoot in Pollachi. A song in the choreography of Dinesh and little talkie part has been canned on Pawan Kalyan and Sarah Jane Dias. The makers have also completed few comedy scenes on Power Star and Brahmanandam. The remaining part of this schedule will be shot in Karaikudi, Tamilnadu.
The film was earlier referred as Shadow and Kaali but the final title of the film will be announced on 2nd September by the producers. Pawan Kalyan will be seen romancing two new ladies Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania in the film. Neelima and Shobu Yarlagadda are producing the film on the banner of Sanghamitra Arts and Arka Media jointly. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director.

Movie : Sega Rating : 2.5/5 Cast : Nani, Nitya Menon, Bindhu Madhavi and others Banner : Mana Desam movies Music Director : Joshwa Sridhar Cinematography : Om Prakash Rao Producer : Ashok Vallabhaneni, Rakesh Mahankali (Mahi) Director : Anjana Nani-Nitya starrer Sega, I believe came out with much expectations owing to the success that the couple got with their last film Ala Modalaindi. The trailers and the music heard in songs were the attracting elements. But the title certainly wasn’t obvious to the kind of impression it made. It was probably with an idea to drag audiences to the theaters. PERFORMANCES: Hero Nani, yet again bears witness for what acting and performance is about. Without a hitch, Nani seems to wear the skin of the character of a poor boy from the slums and lets you find the person he plays which feels so real. Less color on him adds to the elevation of the character. This film is his first Tamil film being dubbed in Telugu. And I have a feeling that he’s going to be one amongst the few who can stand in with success in the Tamil Industry too. On his opposite is Nitya Menon, seen consecutively for the second time. And no, you’d not be bored to watch them again. Her character is also deglamourized and wears the no-makeup look; that suits her so well and I like it! Its praiseworthy to see how Nitya continues to keep up the promising performance that she has delivered in her last two films too. Personally, I give a thumps up to the new dusky couple on the screen- Nani and Nitya. Rest of the supporting roles played by various other known artists worked exactly right for the director’s need. Karthik needs to be special mentioned for decently carrying out the action he was signed for and along with him is Bindu Madhavi who surprisingly played a prostitute which speaks for a lot of acting work. She worked boldly but the disappointment remained that it was limited doing nothing much with the length of the film. TECHNICAL ANALYSIS: On the technical front, any lame viewer would instantly feel the exquisite pleasure of the theme of the film. All credit to the camera work. Smart framing, dingy lighting worked more than well for the situations run through out the film. The visuals in the songs especially, soothes and lets one experience pure pleasance. Kudos to Om Prakash for all the brilliant cinematography! What synchs absolutely well with the visual effect is the film’s euphony. Whether its the veracious background score or the endearing sound of the songs, Yashua Sridhar receives a great appreciation. So the visual and sound effects leap out but what might not have equally worked is the screenplay. You’d dislike those slow moments which apparently did not add to the intensity required. Well, the story has nothing new but the director, Anjana has made her attempt in treating it with variance. It is a tough task for a lady to work with such gloomy stories. I would say, she has succeeded in some degree and not wholly. PLUS POINTS: Running time Music Background score Picturization of songs MINUS POINTS: Screenplay Bad Narration Unnecessary fights Abrupt ending Silly story point ANALYSIS: So, with the threesome- friends tipping in the waters at beach in merriment and a peachy girl confessing her love in full vividness; the music and the peculiar picturing with Nani and Nitya together again finds one good number of reasons not to miss Sega. To my wonder this film isn’t about fun or passion. The plot is made on two major grounds- Drugs and Prostitution. Yeah, that sounds quite dark and sinister clouded but honestly I’m not where to categorize this- A dark film or a love story or a thriller! Director, Ajana lets herself down committing unbearable blunders. The entire first hour is dealt with a very thin story line and lessened intensity though the screen play seemed just about average. The mistake arises in the second hour which evidently speaks volumes for the inability of the director’s work. Anjana was probably trussed in a way, considering the kind of subject she took up. But the film would have worked the way it ought to only if the script had gone out-of-doors and unwrapped its murk. Not only the story developed to be pathetic but the characters also behaved unreal. The director’s so called different take has actually misfired making absolutely no sense. The title song that comes during a rough fight broke to be a comedy and it all ending abruptly leaves you with one question- Why was the movie made! If it was the music or songs that attracted you, you’re good appreciating Yashua and nothing beyond.
Current heartthrobs Naga Chaitanya and Kajal who are riding high in Tollywood have teamed up for the first time for Dhada. All in All, Dhada has everything what a commercial entertainer is expected to have. Devi Sri Prasad did not disappoint Akkineni fans but at the same it is not Devi’s best album too. A couple of numbers has the potential to top the chartbusters. Naga Chaitanya has ample scope to prove his dancing skills with Dhada and let’s wait to see it on the big-screens. Dhada is worth a listen…

Energetic Star Ram’s new film ‘Endukante…Premanta’ is progressing on the sets of Helipad and Goa House in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Action scenes are being canned in the present schedule, which commenced on 29th June. Writer Kona Venkat will be seen in a negative role in the film.
Endukante…Premanta is a youthful romantic entertainer being directed by Karunakaran and produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sravanthi Movies banner. Tollywood’s blockbuster hit Arundhati will soon be remade in Hindi version. The curiosity surrounding the Hindi project is rising to peaks these days. Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the distribution rights of the Hindi version of the film. There has been buzz earlier that Anurag Basu might wield the megaphone for the film.
The latest buzz in the B-Town is that Kareena Kapoor is keen on playing the lead role in the film. Kareena is said to have watched the original version which featured Anushka and was pretty impressed. Though there isn’t any official confirmation on casting her, the chances of Kareena being zeroed in to the project are high, says the sources.

Super Star Mahesh Babu’s next film The Businessman in the direction of Puri Jagannadh has wrapped up the script work of the film. Puri himself informed on the film’s progress tweeting, “I just finished my script, The Business man. It's kicass, so energetic n so exciting. I sincerely thank RGV who inspired me to write this story.”
With a tagline Guns don’t need agreements, The Businessman is touted as a commercial entertainer with ample mass elements. Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in the film. R Venkat is producing the film on R R Movie Makers banner.
The Businessman will commence its regular shoot in the end of August and will reach the big-screens on 12th January, 2012 i.e. for Pongal.

Young hero Varun Sandesh has responded to the allegations on him over having links with a drug peddler from Nigeria and buying cocaine from him. The actor denied the allegations saying that he never met a Nigerian and never bought cocaine from anyone. However, Varun agreed that he personally knows Dr.Siddharth, whose name also cropped up in the Drugs racket. "I know Dr.Siddharth personally but I never bought any drugs from him and I never met a Nigerian. I don't take any drugs. Earlier, hero Nani's name was linked to a drug peddler. But, the reports were proved false. And now my name is linked to it. Please verify the news before telecasting it in TV Channels. I'm always available to clarify any issues to media," said Varun Sandesh. The police have arrested a Nigerian and an Indian doctor Siddharth from Bangalore and 50 grams of cocaine was recovered from them. The TV Channels have splashed that Varun Sandesh have links with the Nigerian and bought drugs from him.
